Who Runs Yukon Gold

Two companies, and neither is called “Casino Rewards”. The brand is managed by Fresh Horizons Ltd, which holds Kahnawake Gaming Commission licence 00972; the commission’s own certificate for Yukon Gold shows the permit held since 1 November 2000 and running to 16 May 2029. The website is owned and operated by Apollo Entertainment Ltd of Malta (company number C 45483), and the same company runs the Ontario site under the AGCO. A Maltese company number is not a gaming licence: Yukon Gold holds no Malta Gaming Authority licence and no UK Gambling Commission licence. Casino Rewards itself is the loyalty network these brands share, not a licensee.

That network has 16 member casinos, so Yukon Gold has 15 sister sites. They share one loyalty programme, one support desk and one bonus template, and the weekly payout cap for big winners is measured across all of them. The siblings are compared further down.

The Winners List, Including the One Everybody Misses

Casino Rewards publishes its big wins with dates, and two of the largest belong to Yukon Gold. On 6 April 2023 a player listed as R.H. won CA$10,013,172.23 on Mega Moolah from a CA$6.25 spin — according to the winners page, playing on bonus money. It is the only eight-figure win on the network’s list. Earlier, on 5 September 2019, S.G. took $4,746,748.54 on the same game here.

The $10 Offer: 150 Spins on the Mega Money Wheel

Deposit the $10 minimum within 7 days of registering and the casino credits 150 free spins on Mega Money Wheel, valued at $0.10 each — $15 of play for $10, sold as “150 chances to win $1 Million”. Three things the banner leaves out:

• Whatever the spins win is credited as bonus funds, and deposit-1 bonus funds carry 200x play-through. Win $25 on the wheel and you hold a $25 bonus balance with $5,000 of slots turnover between you and a cash-out.
• The terms and the bonus page call the game Mega Money Wheel and never mention Mega Moolah. An earlier version of this review linked the two; the casino’s documents give no basis for that.
• The single exception: if the Mega Money Wheel top prize lands and is credited as bonus funds, you can ask support to convert it to cash, provided you have not wagered any of it yet. That is the only prize the rule covers. There is no blanket “jackpot wins are exempt from wagering” clause anywhere in the terms.

As a $10 ticket to 150 cheap spins, it is fair entertainment. Price it as entertainment and nothing else.

The $150 Match and the 200x Math

What the package is

Deposit two gets a 100% match up to $150, and that is the whole package: the terms say only the first two deposits count toward the promotion. Play-through is calculated on the bonus amount, and bets from both your cash balance and your bonus balance count toward it.

What it costs

eCOGRA’s audited slot payout for the network is 96.09% (April–June 2026). Use it as the price tag: every $1 wagered on slots costs about 3.9 cents on average, so $30,000 of turnover costs roughly $1,173 in expected losses to unlock a $150 bonus. A 30x bonus later is a different animal: $100 of bonus means $3,000 of play and about $117 of expected loss, which is an ordinary offshore price.

• Slots count 100% toward play-through. Table, parlour and live dealer games count 2%, so clearing on blackjack means fifty times the turnover.
• All Aces Video Poker and Flippin’ Awesome Shields of Asgard do not count at all.
• A single bet of 25% or more of the bonus value is treated as irregular play.
• Bonuses left unused 60 days after registration are forfeited.

On size, the match is middling for the family: Grand Mondial’s single match is 100% up to $250, and Zodiac’s second-deposit match is smaller (100% up to $100) but its package runs to $480 over four deposits. Games

We previously called this library small for the group. The casino’s games page says “over 1000” games — the same figure its siblings quote — and nothing we can see supports a thinner shelf here, so that line is withdrawn. The suppliers on the site are Games Global (what Microgaming’s casino business became) and Pragmatic Play; the winners ticker names Pragmatic titles such as Sweet Bonanza 1000 and Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000.

The progressive shelf is still the draw: Mega Moolah, Mega Vault Millionaire, Atlantean Treasures: Mega Moolah, Immortal Romance Mega Moolah, Thunderstruck II Mega Moolah, Cash Splash and Treasure Nile are listed, with a footnote that progressive slots are “not available in all regions”. There is a Real Dealer section (Real Roulette with Rishi, Real Baccarat with Sarati), but no live studio supplier is named. The full lobby sits behind login, so the game count is the casino’s claim, not ours.

Payments and Withdrawals

Depositing is the easy half. The banking strip shows Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Interac e-Transfer and Samsung Pay, and the FAQ confirms Interac deposits. The strip is a shared network graphic, so the cashier after login decides what you actually get. No crypto method is advertised.

Withdrawing is where you need to read the FAQ. Interac is deposit-only. The Canadian withdrawal methods are a direct credit to a Visa card (OCT), CAD EFT/eCheck and Skrill, plus bank wire, which carries a fee.

• 48 hours pending, then processed during the following business day.
• Identity verification must be complete before any withdrawal is processed. Send the documents the week you sign up.
• Then the method’s own time: Visa 3 working days, e-wallets 1–3, CAD EFT/eCheck 2–3, bank wire 6–10. A method you are using for the first time can take 5–7 working days while it is checked.
• Minimum withdrawal $50, or $300 by wire. A 2.5% fee applies if you withdraw in a currency other than your account currency.
• The $4,000-a-week cap applies only to players who win substantially more than they have deposited across all Casino Rewards casinos, and the casino can raise or lower it. Normal play never meets it; a six-figure jackpot would, unless the casino chooses to waive it.

Add it up and a Visa withdrawal is about six working days from request to card: two days pending, one for processing, three for the card. CAD EFT lands a day sooner.

Ontario Players

Ontario has its own site, ontario.yukongold.casino, run by Apollo Entertainment Ltd under an AGCO Internet Gaming Operator licence and listed on the iGaming Ontario register. Same $10-for-150-spins entry and the same 100% up to $150 on deposit two, but 30x on every deposit bonus: the Ontario terms’ own example is $100 of bonus needing about $3,000 wagered, against $20,000 offshore. At 30x the $150 match needs $4,500 of play, roughly $176 in expected losses — the only version of this offer with a sane price. The $50 minimum withdrawal and the $4,000 weekly clause are the same. Outside Ontario you are on the offshore site, and your escalation routes are eCOGRA, named in the terms as the dispute resolution body, and a direct complaint to the Kahnawake Gaming Commission — no provincial regulator behind either. Yukon Gold or a Sibling?

The Casino Rewards brands share the cashier rules, the loyalty scheme and the 200x-then-30x pattern, so the decision is the entry offer and the winner history.

The Monkey’s Verdict

Yukon Gold is a legitimate Canadian-facing casino with a licence you can look up, a seal with a printed expiry date, and its network’s biggest win on a public list with the player’s initials and bet size. That earns the 3.4. It gets no more because of what the gold-pan branding never mentions: 200x on both welcome bonuses, spin winnings that arrive as bonus money, a 48-hour pending window before any method even starts, a $4,000-a-week clause for exactly the kind of win it advertises, and — outside Ontario — a Kahnawake and eCOGRA complaints path rather than a provincial one. None of it is hidden; it is all in the terms. It is the gap between “a decent $10 bet” and “a good casino”.

3.4/5. Take the $10 spins if 150 cheap pulls at a wheel sound like fun. Skip the deposit-2 match unless $30,000 of slots turnover was already in your plans.
